SC Johnson topped the 2025 Best Workplaces in Kenya list from Great Place to Work, the global workplace culture authority.

The manufacturer, which has 84 employees, ranks first. It shows that a great workplace doesn’t need a big headcount.

Manufacturing has a strong showing at the top. Osho Chemical Industries takes second place with 327 employees, so the two highest-ranked companies both come from manufacturing and production.

Largest Employer on the list

DHL comes third. It is the list’s largest employer, with 468 people, and the only company from the transport and freight sector.

Hospitality is represented by Somerset Westview Kenya in fourth, with 116 employees.

Technology is the most common sector in the top eight, with three companies.

Cisco Kenya ranks fifth and is the smallest company on the list, with just 20 employees.

Craft Silicon Ltd Kenya follows in sixth with 180 employees, then Incentro in seventh with 39. Glenmark Pharmaceuticals Limited rounds out the list in eighth place, with 95 employees. It is the only biotechnology and pharmaceuticals company on the list.

The list covers a mix of sectors and company sizes, from 20 employees to 468. Its main message for employers is that workplace culture can be built at any scale.
