B Investments Exits Benban Solar Assets in Egypt.

Egyptian private equity firm B Investments Holding has approved the sale of its entire stake in three Infinity Solar power projects at the Benban Solar Park for $8.25 million, completing its exit from the renewable energy sector.

The divestment covers Infinity Solar 1, 2, and 3, marking the end of the company’s investment in the flagship solar development. The board has also authorized Chairman Hazem Barakat to complete all legal and regulatory procedures required to finalize the transaction.

Over the past five years, B Investments Holding has remained overwhelmingly focused on Egypt. Unlike many African private equity firms with regional portfolios, B Investments follows a strategy centered on its home market and has made very few direct investments outside Egypt.

Major Egyptian investments over the past five years:
– Infinity Solar – Three solar plants at Benban Solar Park (recently divested for $8.25 million).
– B Healthcare Investments – Investment platform focused on specialized healthcare.
– Basata Financial Holding – Digital payments and fintech.
– OB Financial Holding – Financial services and fintech.
– Madinet Masr – Real estate development.
– El Ezaby – Pharmacy and healthcare retail.
– Gourmet Group – Food retail and manufacturing

B Investments Holding is an Egyptian private equity and investment company headquartered in Cairo, Egypt. It has outlined a more focused investment strategy as it reshapes its portfolio, including: Healthcare, Food & Beverage and Education.
