Among the top performers were Britam Holdings (+38.65%), Family Bank (+29.96%) and East African Portland Cement (+25.20%), companies whose gains were backed by strong fundamentals and strategic progress.

Britam Holdings led the rally after reporting an 8% rise in pre-tax profit to KSh7.9 billion, alongside growth in insurance revenue and investment assets. Investors are also optimistic about its new ASCEND 2026–2030 growth strategy focused on digital transformation and regional expansion.

Family Bank Ltd continued its momentum after making its NSE debut in June 2026, with investors responding positively to its focus on SME lending, digital banking and retail expansion.

East African Portland Cement strengthened its turnaround story after posting a 116% jump in revenue, supported by operational reforms and improved production efficiency.
